The start/finish location is situated at Plumpton Racecourse in Lewes where there are a lot of accommodation options. Below is a list of accommodation options to book if you would like to stay very close by. There will be free camping onsite at the racecourse for anyone that wishes to take advantage. Camping will be next to Race HQ on the grass area in the middle of the Racecourse. It does not need to be pre booked and tents or camper vans are allowed. Very large motor homes are not allowed. There are lots of toilets and showers available onsite to use.
If traveling by road then Plumpton Racecourse is situated on Plumpton Lane only 1.5 miles off the B2116, and 8 miles from the A23, leaving at the Pyecombe services junction. Our signposted main entrance on Plumpton Lane is 200 yards beyond the bridge on the left (coming from Ditchling) and 0.5 miles past the train station (coming through Plumpton Green), up the hill on the right.
For anyone travelling by train, Plumpton Station is literally a 400 meter walk to the start line.
